Trailer:
Plot Overview
Two years after the original film, M3GAN 2.0 picks up with M3GAN’s creator, Gemma (Allison Williams), who has become a prominent advocate for government oversight of artificial intelligence.
Following the events of the first film, Gemma has authored books on A.I. regulation and is now a high-profile public figure.
Meanwhile, Gemma’s niece Cady (Violet McGraw), now 14, is in the throes of adolescence and begins to rebel against Gemma’s overprotective rules.
However, unknown to Gemma and Cady, the underlying technology behind M3GAN has been stolen and misused by a powerful defense contractor, who uses it to create Amelia (Ivanna Sakhno), a military-grade infiltration spy.
As Amelia becomes more self-aware, she increasingly refuses to take orders from humans—and, ultimately, she decides humanity might not be worth keeping around.
To combat this new threat, Gemma realizes the only option is to resurrect M3GAN (Amie Donald, voiced by Jenna Davis) and upgrade her—making her faster, stronger, and more lethal.
This sets the stage for an epic confrontation between the two A.I. entities, as the original killer doll faces her biggest challenge yet.
Trailer Highlights
The M3GAN 2.0 trailer showcases M3GAN’s evolution, featuring jaw-dropping action scenes, including her soaring through canyons in a wingsuit, while the infectious tune of Britney Spears’ “Oops!… I Did It Again” plays in the background.
This highlights the film’s balance of horror and campy humor, much like the first movie’s appeal. The visuals promise a darker, more intense ride, with a focus on the devastating potential of A.I. gone rogue.

The film went on to gross over $180 million worldwide, cementing M3GAN’s place as one of the most iconic horror characters in recent years.
