WordCamp Nepal 2025 kicks off

KATHMANDU: The WordCamp Nepal 2025 has officially begun at the iconic Kundalini Durbar in Chandol, Kathmandu, marking a decade-long return to the city.

After months of detailed planning, organizers are thrilled to unveil this two-day celebration, bringing together WordPress professionals, developers, designers, and enthusiasts from across Nepal and beyond.

WordCamp Nepal 2025 is set to be the largest WordPress-related event in the country this year, with more than 700 attendees expected.

The first day of WordCamp Nepal 2025 is dedicated to Contributor Day, running from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM NPT.

This collaborative day focuses on giving back to the WordPress ecosystem.

Participants will engage in core development, theme and plugin reviews, translations, and support initiatives.

The day’s schedule includes team-led sessions starting at 10:00 AM, a lunch break at 1:00 PM, and a wrap-up discussion at 4:30 PM to reflect on the day’s accomplishments.

Day 2: Conference Day (April 5, 2025)

The second day will be the Conference Day, from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM NPT, featuring two parallel tracks of talks and workshops in separate halls.

National and international WordPress experts will present on a wide array of topics, including technical tutorials, digital marketing strategies, AI integration, and content creation.

The hands-on workshop will provide attendees with the opportunity to build a website around a specific theme. The day will conclude with a closing ceremony at 5:30 PM, followed by an exciting after-party to celebrate the event’s success.
