Three Parliamentary Committees set to meet at Parliament Secretariat today

KATHMANDU: Three committees of the federal parliament are scheduled to hold meetings today at the Parliament Secretariat in Singha Durbar.

According to the Parliament Secretariat, the meeting of the Finance Committee will discuss the upcoming budget for the fiscal year 2081/82 with the Ministry of Finance.

This meeting is set to begin at 11:00 AM.

Meanwhile, the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee will convene at 11:00 AM to discuss matters related to the pro-monarchy demonstration that took place on March 29 in Kathmandu’s Tinkune area, with the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Additionally, the Legislative Management Committee will hold a meeting to discuss the Water Transport (Operation and Management) Bill, 2081, on a clause-by-clause basis.

This meeting will also start at 11:00 AM.

All meetings are scheduled to begin simultaneously at 11:00 AM.
