Partial cloud cover, light rain & snowfall expected across Nepal

KATHMANDU: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology’s Weather Forecasting Division has reported that partial influence of western and local winds is being felt across the country.

According to the department, partial cloud cover is currently observed in the provinces of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini.

During the day, partial cloud cover is expected in the hilly regions of the country, while the rest of the areas will experience mainly clear skies with some cloud cover.

Light rain with thunderstorms is likely in some hilly regions of Gandaki and Karnali provinces.

Additionally, there is a possibility of light snowfall in the higher hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.

As for the nighttime forecast, partial cloud cover will remain in the hilly regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces, while the weather in other areas will mostly remain clear.
