WordCamp Nepal 2025 set to kick off tomorrow in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: The WordCamp Nepal 2025 is all set to begin tomorrow, April 4, in the heart of Kathmandu at the iconic Kundalini Durbar, Chandol.

After months of meticulous planning and preparation, the organizers are excited to announce that everything is in place for this two-day celebration of WordPress.

The event will bring together WordPress enthusiasts, developers, designers, and professionals from across Nepal and beyond.

Returning to Kathmandu after a decade, WordCamp Nepal 2025 is expected to be the largest WordPress-related event in the country this year.

WordCamp Nepal 2025 spans two exciting days, each with a distinct focus:

Contributor Day: Friday, April 4, 2025

The first day, known as Contributor Day, will run from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM NPT (Nepal Time). This day is dedicated to giving back to the WordPress ecosystem through collaborative efforts.

Attendees will have the chance to participate in core development, theme and plugin reviews, translations, and support initiatives.

The day will feature team-led sessions starting at 10:00 AM, a lunch break at 1:00 PM, and a wrap-up discussion at 4:30 PM to reflect on the day’s contributions.

Conference Day: Saturday, April 5, 2025

The second day, Conference Day, will run from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM NPT, with two parallel tracks of talks and workshops taking place in separate halls.

National and international experts will present on topics ranging from technical tutorials and digital marketing strategies to AI integration and content creation.

A hands-on WordPress workshop will also allow participants to build a website based on a specific theme. Key moments include the opening ceremony at 9:00 AM, sessions running throughout the day, and a closing ceremony at 5:30 PM, followed by an after-party to celebrate the event’s success.
