Fire breaks out at a house in Baitadi

KATHMANDU: A fire broke out in a house in Purchaudi Municipality-3, Deulad, Baitadi, on Wednesday night.

According to the District Police Office, the fire occurred in a single-story mud house belonging to local resident Birendra Bohara.

Police reports suggest that the fire started in a nearby field and spread to the house.

The fire caused significant damage to the household, destroying crops, clothes, and other belongings.

Balram Pandey, spokesperson for the District Police Office, stated that the exact extent of the damages is yet to be confirmed.

With the help of local residents, the fire was brought under control late last night.
