60-year-old dies after falling off tractor in Jhapa

KATHMANDU: An incident occurred in Jhapa in Jhapa Rural Municipality-3 Jhaati, where a 60-year-old man, Ramesh Hasta, lost his life on Wednesday evening.

The victim was traveling on a tractor with registration number ME 1 TA 4107, heading from Jhaati to Kamatoli, when he fell off the moving vehicle.

He sustained severe injuries and was rushed to the Provincial Hospital in Bhadrapur for treatment.

Unfortunately, despite efforts to save him, Ramesh succumbed to his injuries.

The tractor driver has been apprehended by the police, and an investigation into the incident is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the accident.
