KATHMANDU: The post-mortem of journalist Suresh Rajak, who tragically lost his life in the Tinkune incident in Kathmandu last Friday, has been completed.

According to doctors at the forensic department of the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Rajak’s death was caused by burns.

It has been confirmed that he died due to fire-related injuries during a protest by royalists, where arson took place.

The doctors also clarified that no bullet wounds were found on Rajak’s body. An X-ray was conducted on him the previous evening, and following the report, the post-mortem was carried out on Wednesday.

There had been rumors suggesting that Rajak had been shot, which led to a delay in conducting the X-ray.

Arrangements are being made to hand over his body to his family.
