NEPSE index rises by 23.86 points; trading volume reaches Rs 5.44 billion

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has shown a significant double-digit rise.

On Wednesday, the NEPSE index increased by 23.86 points, reaching a closing point of 2,707.04.

Today, a total of 318 companies saw the trading of 10,442,683 shares in 53,884 transactions, with a total turnover of Rs 5.44 billion (5,444,435,901).

In today’s trading, the sub-index for the production and processing and life insurance groups decreased, while all other sector sub-indices saw an increase.

The trading volume of the trade group surged by 9.44%, and the finance group rose by 3.12%.

Central Finance Company’s shares saw a positive circuit breaker, while Bottlers Nepal (Balaju) Limited experienced a negative circuit breaker.
