KATHMANDU: NIC Asia Bank has introduced a new service that allows users to withdraw funds from their eSewa Wallet at any of the bank’s ATMs, without the need for an ATM card.

This initiative aims to provide a more convenient and efficient banking experience for both the bank’s customers and eSewa Wallet users across the country.

According to the bank, this new service is now available at all 670 of its ATMs nationwide. Customers can easily withdraw funds from their eSewa Wallet with a simple and straightforward process, eliminating the need for physical cards.

To use the service, users must first log in to the eSewa app and select the “ATM Withdrawal” option under “Financial Payments,” then choose NIC Asia Bank.

Users can then select withdrawal amounts ranging from Rs 1,000 to Rs 5,000 and proceed with the transaction. After entering the eSewa PIN, an OTP (One-Time Password) will be sent to their mobile number.

Next, users need to visit a NIC Asia ATM, select the “Cardless Withdrawal” option, choose “Other Cardless,” and then select eSewa. After entering the OTP received on their mobile phone, users can easily withdraw their funds.

This service allows a maximum of five transactions per day, with a withdrawal limit of Rs 5,000 per transaction.

Additionally, users can make up to 50 transactions per month, with a total withdrawal limit of Rs 25,000.
