7 held in youth’s murder case

KATHMANDU: Seven people have been arrested by the police in connection with the murder of a youth in Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City-16.

The body of 38-year-old Milan Dangal, a resident of Hattia-16, was found early Wednesday morning in a drain along the Hetauda-Dharan Chatra road in Bhuwanchuti, Makwanpur, under the Bagmati Rural Municipality-8.

The police arrested seven individuals, including Dangal’s associates, on suspicion of murder.

Dangal’s head showed signs of injury.

According to the police, there had been a quarrel at a hotel in the evening, and the murder is believed to be related to a personal dispute.

Those involved in the argument have been taken into custody for further investigation, said Police Superintendent Bishwaraj Khadka.
