Bagmati Provincial Assembly meeting scheduled after budget dispute
Speaker Bhuwan Kumar Pathak stated that there would be discussions between the parties today as well, and efforts would be made to reach an agreement.

KATHMANDU: The meeting of the Bagmati Provincial Assembly has been scheduled for 1:00 PM today.
The meeting, which was supposed to take place on Tuesday, was postponed after the notice was posted due to the lack of consensus among the political parties regarding the budget allocation.
Speaker Bhuwan Kumar Pathak stated that there would be discussions between the parties today as well, and efforts would be made to reach an agreement.
Although discussions took place between the ruling and opposition parties, no conclusion was reached, so a joint discussion has been scheduled again today, said Speaker Pathak.
Opposition parties have expressed concerns that the government has failed to maintain balance in the current fiscal year’s budget allocation and that past agreements have not been implemented. As a result, the opposition parties warned of disrupting the meeting.
In response, Speaker Pathak has been holding joint discussions with the parties to reach a consensus.
