Gold prices drop after hitting record high

The price of gold has dropped by 600 rupees per tola after several days of consecutive increases.

KATHMANDU: Gold prices, which had been continuously rising to reach a record high, have decreased today.

The price of gold has dropped by 600 rupees per tola after several days of consecutive increases.

Similarly, the price of silver has also decreased by 15 rupees per tola.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, gold, which was priced at Rs 179,700 per tola on Tuesday, is now being traded at Rs 179,100 per tola today.

Silver is being traded at Rs 2,220 per tola.

On the international market, gold is currently trading around USD 3,115 per ounce.
