The District Police Office clarified that following the speculations, medical professionals decided to conduct an X-ray before the post-mortem.
The results confirmed that there were no bullet injuries, prompting the authorities to proceed with the post-mortem and prepare to return the body to the family.
Rajak’s body is currently held at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital.
Prior to this, the police had denied the rumors of a gunshot injury, labeling the claims as ‘baseless speculation.’
