Toddler dies in motorcycle hit

KATHMANDU: An accident occurred on the road in Amouli, Ward 10 of Krishnanagar Municipality, Kapilvastu, where a motorcycle, whose number plate is yet to be identified, hit a pedestrian.

The victim, 4-year-old Indu Yadav, the daughter of Rajesh Yadav, a resident of Amouli, passed away due to the injuries sustained in the incident.

The accident took place on Monday afternoon, and despite being rushed to the Bhairahawa Medical College for treatment, she succumbed to her injuries on Tuesday morning.

The police are currently searching for the motorcycle rider, who is on the run, and investigating the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident.
