Vice Chancellors’ international conference to be held in Lumbini
The Conference will be held at the Lumbini Buddhist University in Lumbini.

LUMBINI: The Lumbini Buddhist University (LBU) is organizing the International Vice Chancellor’s Conference in Lumbini on April 2 and 3.
The Conference will be held at the Lumbini Buddhist University in Lumbini.
It is being organized with the support of the University Grants Commission and in collaboration with the Global University Network.
According to the LBU, discussions and interaction will be held on contemporary issues including Buddhism and the Buddhist philosophy, academic values, and challenges and opportunities of higher education in the current situation. The 18th ‘News Conference’ will also be held on the occasion.
LBU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Subarna Lal Bajracharya shared that discussions and debates during the Conference would be focused on Buddhist philosophy in higher education, Buddhist philosophy and ethics in academic leadership, internationalization of higher education in the fourth industrial revolution and on challenges and opportunities of higher education in Nepal.
Twenty-four papers including those on the use of Buddhist philosophy in human resource management, the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the labour market, regional cooperation and network building for higher education and institutional role in human resource management will be presented and discussed during the Conference.
Similarly, besides Nepal, scholars from 11 countries will also present papers at the conference. Vice Chancellors of various universities in Nepal, India and Japan will be attending the event.
Experts and scholars from Nepal, Cambodia, China, Germany, India, Japan, Laos, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam will participate in the conference.
