KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu Police have arrested an additional 24 individuals in connection with the violent protests, disruptive activities, and vandalism that occurred during an event at Tinkune on Chait 15.
According to District Police Complex Kathmandu’s spokesperson and Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Apil Raj Bohara, the arrests were made as part of an ongoing investigation into the incident.
He stated, “A total of 24 more individuals have been arrested in relation to the incident. Prior to this, 41 individuals were also arrested, and their remand has been extended for further investigation.”
The arrested individuals were apprehended from various locations across Kathmandu, as confirmed by the District Police Complex.
