NEPSE index drops 0.62%, 201 companies see share price decline

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has decreased by 16.95 points, falling by 0.62% to settle at 2,676.17 points.

Among the listed companies, the share prices of 42 companies increased, while 201 companies saw a decline in their stock values. A total of 56,548 transactions were made today, with a trading volume of Rs 5.79 billion (579 crore 7 million rupees).

A total of 1,060,649 shares were bought and sold.

All subgroups, except for trading, experienced a decline.

The share prices of Guardian Micro Life Insurance, Bishal Bazar Company, Radhi Power Company, Sayapatri Hydropower, and NRN Infrastructure and Development Bank dropped.

Investors in Gurans Microfinance, Upakar Microfinance, Chyangdi Hydropower, Dordi Khola Hydroelectric, and RBB Mutual Fund 2 also saw a decrease in their stock values.
