Represents house session ends; MP Bohara’s death leads to agenda changes

KATHMANDU: The current session of the House of Representatives has come to an end. In today’s meeting, Speaker Devraj Ghimire informed the assembly that the ongoing session would conclude at midnight tonight.

On Tuesday, the agenda for the meeting included Home Minister Ramesh Lekh’s response to questions raised by the lawmakers.

However, following the unfortunate passing of RPP MP Deepak Bohara, the program was removed from the agenda.

The House observed a condolence motion in memory of MP Bohara, who passed away on Tuesday while undergoing treatment.

Starting the session today, Speaker Devraj Ghimire announced, “Honorable members, due to special reasons, I inform you that the programs listed from agenda numbers 1 to 8 have been removed from today’s schedule. Also, the time requested by the honorable Home Minister to speak has also been removed.”

The current session of Parliament will officially conclude tonight at 12:00 AM.
