‘Janai Harayeko Bahun’ movie’s script worship held in Lalitpur’s Binayak Temple

KATHMANDU: The Nepali film Janai Harayeko Bahun, directed by Himal Nepaune, kicked off its production journey with a traditional script puja ceremony at the Binayak Temple in Lalitpur on Tuesday morning.
The puja, a crucial ritual before starting any film project, was attended by key cast members such as Miruna Magar, Gaurav Pahari, and Sushank Mainali, along with the film’s production team.
According to the production team, the movie’s auspicious shoot will begin on April 6, after the official ‘mangala muhurat’ (good time) is set for April 7.
The film is centered around a simple, rural man who faces unexpected circumstances after moving to the city, and the profound changes these challenges bring to his life.
Janai Harayeko Bahun will also explore the emotional bond between a mother and her son, creating a heartwarming and impactful narrative.
The stellar cast includes actor Bijay Baral, Gaurav Pahari, Rear Rai, and actresses Keki Adhikari and Miruna Magar, among others.
The film is set to showcase their powerful performances in pivotal roles.
Manish Raut serves as the associate director, while the film’s screenplay, script, and dialogues are penned by Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal.
