FSU election: Rawal wins presidency at Rara Campus

KATHMANDU: In an election for the Free Students Union (FSU) at Rara Campus, Jaylaxmi Rawal from the Nepal Students’ Union (NSU) emerged victorious.

Rawal secured 73 votes, leaving her competitors behind.

Her closest rival, Ravi Malla, a joint candidate of the All Nepal National Free Students Union (ANNFSU) and Akhil Krantikari, received 48 votes, while independent candidate Sushil Kumar Mall gained 17 votes.

The result highlights the strong influence of the FSU in Rara Campus’s student politics, signaling a significant victory for the organization.

Meanwhile, opposition parties are now faced with the challenge of reevaluating and strategizing for future elections.
