Rabi Lamichhane to meet Speaker Devraj Ghimire today

KATHMANDU: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chair Rabi Lamichhane is scheduled to meet with Speaker of the Parliament, Devraj Ghimire, today.

Lamichhane, along with RSP MPs, will meet the Speaker at 10:00 AM at Singha Durbar.

Lamichhane, who has been suspended from his position as a Member of Parliament, has repeatedly claimed that his suspension is unconstitutional.

His suspension from parliament was enforced on Dec 23.

This came after a case was filed against him in the Kaski District Court on charges of cooperative fraud, organized crime, and money laundering on Dec 22.
