KATHMANDU: The Chair of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), Rajendra Lingden, has stated that political parties in Nepal are engaging in plunder under the guise of republic.

Speaking at a session of the House of Representatives on Monday, he highlighted that political parties are exploiting the name of republicanism while indulging in corrupt practices.

Lingden emphasized that the Nepali people are becoming increasingly aware of the wrongdoings of their leaders.

He urged that the strength of the people should not be underestimated and called for greater accountability. He also raised concerns, questioning why there was a delay in resolving issues, asking, “Why is there a delay when the time has expired?”
