Minor killed in leopard attack

KATHMANDU: A minor was killed in lepard attack in Bajura.

Eight-year-old Bijaya Rawat of Khaptad Chhededaha Rural Municipality-3, Dhurtala was killed by a leopard on Sunday evening.

Police Inspector of District Police Office Deb Bahadur Chaudhari, Rawat was attacked by the leopard while he was playing near his house.

He died on the spot, Chaudhary said.

The body of the deceased child has been brought to Bajura District Hospital for post-mortem, the police informed.
