Western winds bring partial cloud cover, light rain, and snowfall across Nepal

KATHMANDU: The Meteorological Department has reported that the country is experiencing partial influence from western winds.

There will be partial cloud cover in hilly regions of Lumbini Province, Karnali Province, and Sudurpashchim Province, while the rest of the country will experience mostly clear weather.

Today, there is a possibility of light rainfall with thunder and lightning in one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi Province and Gandaki Province.

Additionally, light snowfall may occur at one or two places in the higher hilly and mountainous regions.

The Meteorological Department has advised the public to take necessary precautions, as this weather may partially impact daily life, agriculture, health, road, and air travel.
