RPP leaders Mishra & JB Rana presented in court (photos)

KATHMANDU: Senior Vice Chair of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party, Rabindra Mishra, and General Secretary Dhawal Shumsher JB Rana have been presented before the court.

On Sunday, they were brought to the Kathmandu District Court for an extension of their remand.

They were arrested under charges of inciting protesters during the incident on March 28 at Tinkune, and their remand was extended for further legal procedures.

On the same day, the police had submitted the request for remand extension to the government attorney’s office.

Afterward, the process of extending their remand was carried out at the District Court.

Both leaders had participated in the pro-monarchy demonstration on March 28 at Tinkune.
