KATHMANDU: The suspense thriller Nepali movie Khel has released its trailer on YouTube. The trailer features main actors such as Surakshya Panta, Monika Thapa, Hena Nagarkoti, Nikita Acharya, Samapika Gautam, Mithila Sharma, Sarita Giri, and Bhola Raj Sapkota.
In the trailer, a teacher is seen educating students about the history of Kathmandu, while themes like superstition, epidemics, and black magic are explored.
There are also scenes depicting ancient artworks and inscriptions.
The bond of friendship and misunderstandings among friends is showcased, as they play games like Ludo.
Surakshya Panta’s unusual behavior, Hena Nagarkoti’s attempts to unravel mysteries, and Monica Thapa and Samapika Gautam’s distinct actions bring a sense of mystery and fear to the film.

The movie Khel is jointly directed by Anurag Pradhan and Aastha Shrestha. It is produced under the banner of Sirupate Cuts Pvt. Ltd., with producers Louis Raj Maherjan and Ashish Raj Maherjan.
The co-producers are Kunal Raj Gurung and Rahish Raj Maherjan. The story is written by Ashish Raj Maherjan, while the screenplay has been crafted by Abhitrendra and Anurag Pradhan.
The cinematography is by Roshan Rai and Sanjay Lama, with editing done by Ashish Raj Maherjan. Sound design is by Vikal Pradhan, color grading by Rajendra Moktan, production design by Kishor Nepal, costume design by Alex Basukla, and makeup by Dipu Paudel.
