Local sources say the attacks took place just three hours after the earthquake struck.
The junta targeted several areas, including the earthquake epicenter in the Chang-Yu Township of Sagaing and other locations.
It is also reported that airstrikes were launched in the Myanmar-Thailand border region.
Meanwhile, Myanmar’s military council has confirmed that the death toll from the earthquake has reached 1,644, with 3,408 people injured and 139 still missing.
