One dead, 2 injured in road accident near Nagarjun

KATHMANDU: A road accident occurred near Nagarjun Municipality-8, close to Thulo Khola, last night, resulting in one death and two injuries.

A Tata vehicle (Pr 3-01-024 Ch 8322) carrying goats from Dhading to Kathmandu lost control while attempting to give way to another vehicle.

The car veered off the road and fell about 400 meters down.

The accident took place at 8:50 PM.

Gokul Pandey, a 50-year-old from Gorkha, who was severely injured, passed away at 10:22 PM at the hospital, as confirmed by SP Apil Bohora of Kathmandu Police.

The injured, 41-year-old Jamaluddin Mia and 43-year-old Ramji Bhatt, both from Gorkha, are currently receiving medical treatment.
