KATHMANDU: The film Janai Harayeako Bahun has been the talk of the town since its announcement.

Set to begin shooting at the end of Chait, the movie has a scheduled 40-day shooting period.

The film’s theme motion poster was recently unveiled, piquing the audience’s curiosity.

Janai Harayeako Bahun tells the emotional story of the bond between a mother and her son. It portrays the struggles the son faces as he fights for his mother’s happiness.

The movie also explores the unexpected events a man from a village faces after moving to the city, and the transformations these experiences bring to his life.

The film will be directed by Himal Nepali, who is making his directorial debut.

The associate director is actor Manish Raut, known for his role in Prem Geet 3.

The film’s cast lineup is impressive, featuring prominent actors.

The lead role will be played by actor Bijay Baral, while the main actresses will be Keki Adhikari and Miruna Magar.

Additionally, Gaurav Pahadi and Rhea Rai will also play significant roles.

In a major development, actor Sushank Manandhar, a National Award-winning actor, will also be part of Janai Harayeako Bahun.

His involvement marks his return to Nepali cinema after a long hiatus.

Sushank, known for his roles in films like Sanguro and Talakjung vs Tulke, expressed his excitement about returning to the industry, particularly due to the story’s focus on relationships.

The movie is set to be released on the occasion of Haritalika Teej, on Aug 26.

The inclusion of Sushank has brought a new energy to the film’s team, as noted by associate director Manish Raut.

The movie is being produced by Paperclip Pvt. Ltd., with the story, screenplay, and dialogue written by Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal.

Thanishwar Gautam will compose the music for the film.

The shooting will take place in Palpa and Kathmandu starting from Chait 25 (April 7), following a 40-day schedule.

The film is being produced by Aditya Films, and the cinematography will be handled by Naveen Gurung.
