Religious leader Khatiwada arrested in Imadol

KATHMANDU: Puskar Khatiwada, a religious leader, has been arrested from the Imadol area of Lalitpur.

According to SSP Shyam Krishna Adhikari, the head of the District Police Office Lalitpur, Khatiwada was taken into custody during a special investigation.

In the ongoing royalist movement in Tinkune, the police have also arrested several political leaders.

Among those detained are Rabindra Mishra, Dhawal Shamser Rana, and Swagat Nepal, among others. Legal proceedings are being initiated against them.
