IPL 2025: Gujarat Titans face Mumbai Indians

KATHMANDU: In the 9th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, Gujarat Titans will take on Mumbai Indians today at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium.

The match will begin at 7:45 PM IST.

Both teams are seeking their first win after suffering losses in their opening games. Gujarat Titans were defeated by Punjab Kings, while Mumbai Indians fell to Chennai Super Kings at Chepauk.

Gujarat Titans, who made their IPL debut in 2022, went on to win the championship under the leadership of Hardik Pandya.

Hardik, currently the captain of Mumbai Indians, missed the first match of the season due to a suspension but is set to play today.

In his absence, Suryakumar Yadav captained Mumbai Indians.

In contrast, he had maintained an economy rate of around 6.73 runs per over in the previous six seasons.
