Light rainfall likely in Koshi and Gandaki

KATHMANDU: The weather is partly cloudy in the hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki and Karnali and mainly clear in the rest of the country.

This is due to the partial influence of westerly winds combined with local winds, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

Later this afternoon, the weather will remain partly cloudy in the hilly areas of Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim Provinces and mainly clear in the remaining part of the country.

There is a possibility of light rain with lightning at one or two places in the hilly areas and light snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi and Gandaki Provinces, according to the Division.

Tonight, the weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly areas of Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim Province and mostly clear in the remaining provinces.

There is a possibility of light rainfall with lightning in one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.
