KATHMANDU: Top leaders of the Socialist Front visited the central office of the CPN (Unified Socialist) in Aloknagar on Saturday morning.

They inspected the damage to the office and condemned the incident.

On Friday, royalist groups staged a protest demanding a change in the political system.

The protest turned violent, with demonstrators vandalizing, looting, and setting fire to the office of the Unified Socialist Party.

During the inspection, leaders such as Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, Chair of the CPN (Maoist Center), Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’, General Secretary of the Nepal Communist Party (Majority), Mahindra Rai Yadav, Chair of the Nepal Socialist Party (NSP), and Madhav Nepal, Chair of the Unified Socialist Party, were present.

The Socialist Front condemned the attack on the office, calling it an act against democratic values.
