Army deployed to enforce curfew in Tinkune aarea

KATHMANDU: The Nepalese Army has been deployed to enforce a curfew in the Tinkune area.
Following the issuance of a curfew order by the District Administration Office in Kathmandu, the Nepalese Army has been stationed on the streets to ensure compliance.
The curfew has been imposed in various areas of Kathmandu, lasting until 10:00 PM.
The army’s deployment comes after pro-monarchy groups started vandalizing and setting fires in sensitive areas, including the airport.
The District Administration Office has issued a curfew order prohibiting any form of gathering, procession, demonstration, or meeting in the following areas: Banasthar-Tinkune, Gaushala-Airport-Gairidhara-Tinkune, Koteshwor to Jadibuti Bridge, Koteshwor to Balkumari Bridge, Baneshwor Chowk to Shankhamul Bridge, and Samchowk to Old Baneshwor via New Baneshwor Chowk.
