Australia Embassy Nepal issues warning amid valley protests

KATHMANDU: Authorities are warning residents and visitors of large-scale protests anticipated in the Kathmandu Valley on 28 March 2025 (today).

The demonstrations are expected to cause significant traffic disruptions and a heavy security presence throughout the area.

There is also a possibility that curfews may be imposed at short notice in response to the unrest.

The Australian Embassy Nepal has also issued an official notice concerning the ongoing protests.
