In a programme organised on Thursday, Ncell and Lalitpur City FC signed an agreement to this effect. Lalitpur City FC will play its first match of the Ncell NSL against Kathmandu Razors FC on Saturday at 6 PM.

This partnership has further motivated and encouraged the team. This season, seven teams—Lalitpur City FC, Kathmandu Razors FC, Pokhara Thunders FC, Butwal Lumbini FC, Dhangadhi FC, Jhapa FC, and FC Chitwan —will compete for the championship title.

“Our collaborations with NSL and Lalitpur City FC reaffirm Ncell’s commitment to sports and youth talent development in the country. We are excited to be associated with football, a sport that connects people,” said Umar Mohsin, Chief Commercial Officer of Ncell.

Ncell is also the title sponsor of this NSL Season 3, which aims to help Nepali footballers achieve excellence while making a significant contribution to the growth of the sport.

The franchise football tournament kicks off on Saturday and concludes on May 26, 2025.
