Partial cloud cover & light snowfall expected in Koshi & Gandaki

KATHMANDU: The weather forecast indicates partial influence of western and local winds across the country.

On Friday morning, there was partial cloud cover in the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki Provinces, while the rest of the country experienced mostly clear weather.

According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the weather will remain mostly clear in the rest of the country, with partial cloud cover expected in the mountainous and hilly regions of Koshi and Gandaki Provinces this afternoon.

In these regions, light snowfall is possible in the mountain areas, and there may be light rain with thunder and lightning in a few places of the hilly areas.

Tonight, the weather in the mountainous and hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki, and Sudurpashchim Provinces will remain partially cloudy.

Light snowfall is expected in the mountain regions of Koshi and Gandaki Provinces, while light rain is possible in the hilly areas.
