First look of ‘Jante Bakhro’ revealed, set for May 6 release

KATHMANDU: The first look of the movie Jante Bakhro has been revealed.
On Thursday, the movie’s first look was made public, featuring actors Saugat Malla, Aasif Shah, and Garima Sharma in lead roles.

No other films have yet announced their release dates for this period. The poster features a romantic scene between Aasif and Garima in the backdrop of the Himalayas, while Saugat is seen with a disappointed expression, observing the couple.
A goat wearing glasses appears between them, symbolizing the “Jante Bakhro” (the goat that is traditionally fed at a wedding).
This imagery is intended to represent a wedding procession, hinting at the film’s plot revolving around wedding customs.
The movie’s storyline is centered around this theme, as per the film’s production team.
Directed by Simos Sunuwar, the film stars Saugat, Ashif, and Garima, along with actors such as Rama Thapaliya, Lokendra Lekhak, Kamal Devkota, Bishal Pahadi, Rusha Neupane, Kusum Sharma, Sneha Joshi, Samapika Gautam, and Kushal Gajmer in supporting roles.
Jante Bakhro is a social comedy, produced by Santosh Gautam under the banner of Muin Entertainment. The film’s script, screenplay, and dialogues have been written by Pradeep Bhardwaj.
Hari Humagai is the director of photography, Uttam Humagai handles the cinematography, Sunil Shivbhakti is the editor, and the poster design is credited to Royal Bhimsen (Trident Concept Team).
The film’s digital rights are owned by the production company Muin Entertainment, and Tiflk Films will handle its distribution.
