KATHMANDU: The Teacher’s Federation has instructed protesting teachers not to evaluate answer sheets for the Secondary Education Examination (SEE).

The Federation has emphasized that teachers should not evaluate answer sheets for SEE or any other exams until their demands are met.
According to the Federation’s President, Lakshmikishore Suvedi, around 75% of the country’s 400,000 teaching staff are expected to participate in the protest.
Additionally, the Federation has advised teachers to avoid attending any programs organized by the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology, starting from the 20th of this month.
Previously, the Teacher’s Federation had staged sit-ins at various political party offices to press the government to address their demands.
The Federation has warned that if their demands remain unmet, they will enter the final and indefinite phase of their protest starting on Chait 20.
