KATHMANDU: Siddhartha Bank Limited successfully conducted various programs during the week-long celebration of “Global Money Week 2025,” held from March 17 to 23, with the aim of providing financial education to students and empowering them economically.

In line with the theme of this year’s Global Money Week, “Think before you follow, wise money tomorrow,” the bank organized financial literacy programs targeting students in 24 locations across all seven provinces of the country, including schools and campuses.

The bank’s initiatives aimed to raise awareness about its services, digital transactions, and the precautions to take while engaging in them, helping students enhance their financial knowledge, skills, mindset, and behavior.

A total of 1,212 students participated in these programs.

Additionally, to provide practical education on basic banking operations and various banking methods, the bank organized site visits for 448 students to its branches.

Throughout the week, Siddhartha Bank conducted a total of 38 programs, reaching out to 1,660 students with financial education during “Global Money Week 2025.”

With the objective of increasing financial inclusion and raising awareness about financial services across the country, the bank believes these initiatives have contributed to achieving the goals of the internationally recognized “Global Money Week,” held annually to raise awareness about the importance of financial literacy.
