KATHMANDU: NIC Asia Bank has successfully concluded the ‘Global Money Week 2025’ with a week-long series of events aimed at promoting financial literacy among thousands of students and youth across the country.
Under the national coordination of Nepal Rastra Bank, this year’s ‘Global Money Week 2025’ saw various branches of NIC Asia Bank from all seven provinces engaging students and young people in activities designed to enhance financial knowledge, skills, and mindset.
The objective was to foster financial literacy and development across the nation.
More than 80 programs were conducted throughout the week, benefiting over 4,500 students and youth from different regions.
In particular, branches in districts with relatively low financial literacy, such as Bajura, Rukum, Kalikot, Jumla, Jajarkot, and Darchula, also took part in the initiative, helping to spread financial literacy in these underserved areas.
In addition, the bank developed and published educational materials on financial literacy as part of the campaign, contributing further to raising awareness and knowledge.
Following the directive from Nepal Rastra Bank, NIC Asia Bank believes that its diverse programs and educational resources have significantly contributed to improving financial literacy, awareness, and skill development among children, students, and youth throughout the country.
