Gold & silver prices rise after four-day decline

KATHMANDU: The price of gold in the Nepali market, which had been continuously declining for the past four days, has risen on Wednesday.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Entrepreneurs’ Association, the price of hallmarked gold has increased by 200 rupees per tola, reaching 173,500 rupees per tola today.

Earlier, the price of gold had dropped by 200 rupees on Tuesday, 600 rupees on Monday, 900 rupees on Sunday, and 1,000 rupees last Friday.

Similarly, the price of silver has also increased today.

The price of silver has risen by 10 rupees per tola, reaching 1,990 rupees per tola, as reported by the Association.
