Argentina’s goals came from Julian Álvarez in the 4th minute, Enzo Fernández in the 12th, Alexis Mac Allister in the 37th, and a final strike by Nicolás Baldini in the 72nd minute.
Brazil’s only response came from João Cunha, who scored in the 26th minute, but it was not enough to mount a comeback.
With this emphatic win, Argentina now have 31 points from 14 games, securing their spot in the 2026 World Cup.
Brazil, with 21 points from the same number of matches, remain in fourth place in the standings.
