Nabil Bank CEO Dhungana resigns
Dhungana confirmed that his resignation was approved as of last Sunday.

KATHMANDU: Gyanendra Prasad Dhungana, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Nabil Bank, has resigned from his position, effective from Sunday.
His resignation comes 14 months before the completion of his two-year term.
Dhungana confirmed that his resignation was approved as of last Sunday.
Dhungana was appointed as the CEO of Nabil Bank by the bank’s Board of Directors in 15 May 2024 for a two-year term.
During his tenure, Nabil Bank has significantly contributed to financial literacy and digital banking initiatives, consistently running various programs aimed at expanding these areas throughout the year.
In addition, the bank has launched programs like ‘Nabil SSE’ to foster social entrepreneurship.
Nabil Bank has also been actively involved in providing educational loans at concessional interest rates to youth and students, as well as offering loans to support young entrepreneurs.
The bank has focused on several areas under its corporate social responsibility initiatives, including financial literacy, entrepreneurship development, health, education, disaster risk management, and climate change.
