Nabil Bank hosts nationwide financial literacy program for Global Money Week 2025
During the week, Nabil Bank organized financial literacy programs for over 4,000 students and youth across the country’s seven provinces.

KATHMANDU: Nabil Bank Limited has conducted a nationwide program focused on all seven provinces of Nepal to mark ‘Global Money Week 2025.’ The program, aimed at enhancing financial literacy, targeted students and youth.
The event was held from March 17 to 23, under the theme “Think Before You Follow, Wise Money Tomorrow.”
During the week, Nabil Bank organized financial literacy programs for over 4,000 students and youth across the country’s seven provinces.
The initiative sought to raise awareness about the importance of financial education from an early age and to caution against blindly following financial influencers or making hasty investment decisions.
The programs covered topics such as savings, budgeting, investment, digital financial literacy, and cybersecurity.
The bank reported that the participants included 744 from Koshi Province, 1,063 from Madhesh Province, 441 from Bagmati Province, 434 from Gandaki Province, 506 from Lumbini Province, 405 from Karnali Province, and 407 from Sudurpashchim Province.
Nabil Bank has been consistently promoting financial literacy and digital banking throughout the year with various initiatives.
Additionally, the bank runs programs like ‘Nabil SSE’ to foster social entrepreneurship and offers educational loans and youth entrepreneurship loans at concessional interest rates for students and young entrepreneurs.
