Partial cloudy, light rain & snowfall expected in hilly regions

KATHMANDU: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has reported that the country is currently experiencing partial influence from western and local winds, resulting in partly cloudy weather in the hilly areas, while the rest of the country enjoys clear skies.
According to the department, this afternoon, the weather will remain partly cloudy in the hilly regions, with clear skies in the rest of the country.
There is a possibility of light rain, accompanied by thunder and lightning, at one or two locations in the hilly areas of the Koshi and Gandaki provinces.
Additionally, light snowfall is expected at one or two locations in the higher hilly and Himalayan regions.
Tonight, partial cloud cover will persist in the hilly areas of the Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, while the rest of the country will experience clear weather.
Over the next 24 hours, there is a possibility of light rain, along with thunder and lightning, at one or two locations in the hilly regions of the Koshi and Gandaki provinces.
Light snowfall is also expected at one or two locations in the higher hilly and Himalayan areas.
The department has advised the public to be cautious, as the weather may have a slight impact on daily life, agriculture, health, roads, and air travel.
