5th National Photo Journalism Awards 2025 announced

KATHMANDU: On the occasion of National Photo Journalism Day, the National Photo Journalist Group has announced the 5th National Photo Journalism Awards 2025.

At a press conference held on Monday in Kathmandu, it was shared that the awards aim to encourage photojournalists working in Nepal and inspire new talent in the field.

The awards will feature 16 categories, including Lifetime Achievement Award, Daily Life Photo Journalism, Sports Photo Journalism, Women Photo Journalism, Tourism and Cultural Photo Journalism, Economic Photo Journalism, Political Photo Journalism, Entertainment Photo Journalism, and Independent Photo Journalism. Winners will receive trophies and certificates of recognition.

Photo journalists wishing to participate must submit their entries by midnight on April 12.

For each category, a total of five outstanding photos should be submitted as per the organizers’ instructions.
