KATHMANDU: The Purification Campaign within Nepal Scouts has called on employees to support the movement against irregularities, lack of transparency, and chaotic activities within the organization.

On Monday, the campaign released a statement urging all staff members working at Nepal Scouts to join their cause.

The primary demand of the campaign is focused on the welfare and rights of the employees, urging them to stand united in the fight for their rights.

The campaign gained momentum after allegations of mismanagement by Director Ram Prasad Bhattarai, which have weakened the institution.

Since the 11th of this month, protests have been ongoing in the office premises, demanding an investigation into Bhattarai’s actions.

The coordinator of the Nepal Scouts Purification Campaign emphasized in the statement that Nepal Scouts is a shared asset of the public, and it is essential to free the organization from the clutches of irregularities.

For this, the support of everyone is needed to restore the integrity of the institution.
