KATHMANDU: In celebration of Global Money Week 2025, Nepal Investment Mega Bank Ltd. has conducted a series of financial literacy programs across the country.

The initiative, aimed at promoting financial knowledge, was held from Chait 4 to Chait 10, at various branch offices in all seven provinces.

The programs reached a total of 83 branch offices, with 12 branches in Koshi Province, 12 in Madhesh Province, 16 in Bagmati Province, 13 in Gandaki Province, 14 in Lumbini Province, 6 in Karnali Province, and 10 in Sudurpashchim Province.

As part of the week’s activities, the bank organized financial literacy rallies in Lumbini, Hetauda, Dhangadhi, Hariban, Lambandi, and Syafrubesi.

During these programs, the bank provided students with valuable knowledge on various topics, including banking systems, savings and loan plans, the importance of saving, types of accounts, mobile banking, digital banking, QR codes, PIN and password security, cyber security, and ways to protect against digital fraud.

To further support financial education, the bank distributed a recently published illustrated book titled The Magic of Digital Banking and informational pamphlets on cyber security to students from various schools across all seven provinces.

Additionally, the bank shared awareness content on its social media platforms to reach a wider audience.

This initiative highlights the bank’s commitment to fostering financial literacy and empowering individuals with the necessary skills to navigate the evolving digital economy.
